Our model

Meet EOR Albania:
we employ, and you set the work

EOR Albania employs the people you select on Albanian contracts, runs their lek payroll and files with the DPT each month. A business abroad can then have staff in Albania without registering an SHPK, while the hiring decision and daily direction stay with you.

A business abroad that wants its first person in Albania usually hits the same wall: an SHPK, a NIPT, a bank account and a filing calendar, all before one payslip. We exist to take that wall out of the way.

The reason

Why a service?

Hiring one developer in Tirana should not need a company of your own. The direct route means QKB registration, a NIPT, beneficial-owner records and a bank account, then an accountant for the monthly listëpagesa, a corporate tax return by 31 March and financial statements by 31 July.

We offer the other route: the person you choose is employed by us under Albanian law, and payroll and filings are ours to run. If the team grows, you can still form your own SHPK later.

How we differ from a multi-country platform

How are we different?

✕List price per employee set in US dollars
✓From €599 per employee per month, with lek costs shown at the Bank of Albania rate
✕Support teams spread across every country on the price list
✓One payroll manager who prepares your pay run and answers your email

Our habits

What can you expect?

Six habits shape every Albanian account we run, from drafting the contract to filing the leaver declaration.

We are the employer

Your hire’s contract is with us, and the DPT declaration, payroll and contributions all run under it.

Single contact

The payroll manager who prepares your pay run is the person who replies to you, so pay questions are not passed along a chain.

Named people

You write to named people rather than a shared inbox, and each of them knows which part of your account is theirs.

Records kept in order

Article 21 terms in every contract, an invitation and hearing before any dismissal, payslips kept for inspection.

Headcount up or down

Take on another person when work grows, or end a contract in probation on 5 days’ notice. The fee is per employee, so cost follows headcount.

Prices you can check

Fee from €599 per employee per month, statutory costs at their 2026 rates, nothing added at the end.

Your support

Who supports your hires?

Each account has the same small set of people, who know your employees’ contracts, pay and leave history.

Account lead

One contact from the first quote onwards, who knows your employees and your history with us.

Payroll, tax and ISSH

Gross-to-net on the 2026 DPT withholding table, the listëpagesa filed on e-filing by the 20th, and contributions that fund ISSH benefits and FSDKSH health cover.

Staff questions and HR

Leave, sick notes, contract changes and day-to-day questions from your staff, handled under the Kodi i Punës.

Paperwork before day one

A written contract with every Article 21 term, the DPT declaration 24 hours before day one and, for non-EU hires, the leje unike file on e-Albania.

You deal with the same small team every month, by email.

Coverage

Where in Albania can your staff live?

Anywhere in the country. Contracts, payroll and DPT filings are the same for an employee in Tirana or in a small town, and a teleworker under Article 15 of the Labour Code may not be treated less favourably than office staff. A foreign national needs a leje unike before starting.
